Who’s talking to you?
In the in-between moments of our day, when we are going from place to place, we can learn a lot about our mindset.
In line at the cafe, at the airport gate, passing through the corridor on the way to the next meeting, what are you thinking?
Particularly in the routine times, what thoughts hold your attention?
Listen to the monologue in your head.
What are you thinking about the place you’re in? What are you thinking about the other people you see? What are you thinking about your experience? What are you thinking about yourself?
This is a great exercise to better understand the “lens” through which we see the world.
Let’s talk about ways to hone your internal listening skills and to curate an internal monologue that promotes mental peace.
