Evidence-Based Approach
I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy.
Through these modalities, one can process emotions tied to past experiences, detect unhelpful coping patterns, work to replace them, and define objectives and goals for the future.
Bolstered by over 20 years of holistic wellness training, I meet each client with a friendly perspective and keen perception. I’m listening for the source of internal conflict as it plays out in their daily experiences. This shows up as anxiety and depression. More specifically, worry, irritability, self-judgement, frustration with others, relationship conflicts, and intimacy issues.
Together, we better understand the source of long held beliefs about self, others and the world. Through the use of skills and modalities, we discuss methods to reframe thinking, create new opportunities for easier, less burdensome living, and build a life you are proud to live.
