As a gay therapist, I personally relate to both the struggles and privileges shaping the lived experience of LGBTQ+ folx. I am committed to affirming the inherent worthiness of all individuals through my professional work. My clinical approach is specifically designed to address the unique challenges faced by marginalized populations. Sessions with clients commonly explore the effects of abuse, bullying, religious trauma and how these have impacted client’s sense of self and everyday vigilance.

I help clients build emotional literacy through awareness of feelings, communication of needs and processing of wounds associated with invalidation and hurt. Therapy allows us to change our relationship with hard feelings, and reframe thoughts in ways that build self-esteem and foster greater self-compassion. With time, there’s less ongoing distress and greater peace of mind.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
